East Cooper Habitat for Humanity Announces 1st Annual Pickleball Tournament
Mount Pleasant, SC – East Cooper Habitat for Humanity (ECHFH) is excited to host its 1st
Annual Pickleball Tournament on Thursday, May 2, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at
Crushyard in Mount Pleasant. This community event will bring together pickleball enthusiasts of
all skill levels for a fun-filled evening, all while raising funds to build affordable homes in the East
Cooper area.
The tournament will follow a mixed doubles format, with participants competing for exciting
prizes. Entry fees include all necessary equipment, as well as food and drinks for each player,
ensuring a fantastic experience for all involved.
“We’re thrilled to bring the community together for a night of friendly competition and
camaraderie,” said Kevin, Executive Director of East Cooper Habitat for Humanity. “Every dollar
raised goes directly toward providing safe, affordable housing for local families, giving them a
hand up, not a handout.”
ECHFH invites players and spectators alike to join in this impactful event. Whether you're a
seasoned player or new to the sport, this tournament offers a great opportunity to support an
important cause while enjoying one of the fastest-growing sports in the country.
How to Participate:

All proceeds from the tournament will support East Cooper Habitat for Humanity’s mission of
eliminating substandard housing and fostering financial stability through affordable
homeownership.
