If you would like to volunteer with East Cooper Habitat for Humanity, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator before coming to the job site. To ensure that our volunteers remain safe and have a rewarding experience, we are not able to accommodate walk-on volunteers, so thank you for calling ahead.
Each volunteer is asked to sign a Release and Waiver of Liability which you should plan to bring with you on your scheduled volunteer day. Additionally, we’ll ask you to complete an online safety course before working at a site.
To complete the safety course, click here, then scroll down the page and you will see a “Free Online Volunteer Safety Training Course” link. This link will provide you a brief set of instructions before you complete the course titled “Volunteering on a Habitat for Humanity Job Site.” (The course should take approximately 20 minutes to complete.) Our Volunteer Coordinator will receive a copy of your Certificate of Completion for the course and a copy is available to you upon request.
If you are interested in volunteering with our ReStore, please contact the store directly. You can reach the ReStore staff at (843) 849-8002.
Thank you in advance for your willingness to help dreams become a reality for deserving families East of the Cooper!
